My parents, Harvey and Bobbi Bybee, are enjoying the first year of Harvey’s retirement from full-time ministry. In June of 2003, they purchased The Josephine Bed and Breakfast in Billings, Montana. While Bobbi still works as a nurse in the Labor and Delivery Ward of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Harvey does the cooking and the cleaning for the bed and breakfast. Although no longer responsible for a specific church, Harvey continues to pastor people and preach sermons (some just can’t escape the call!)

They invite you to share an evening or weekend at their “new home.”

Harvey and Bobbi met at Miltonvale Wesleyan College in 1968. After they married, they moved to Bartlesville and started a family. Aside from their faith, their family brings them the greatest joy. They have five children: Sheri, Keri, Larry, Mari and Terry. Sheri married Chad Mitchell and gave them four delightful grandchildren: Pete, Amy, Heidi and Tate. Larry is married to Theresa Ellis and they, too, are providing grandchildren: Caleb, Abby, Noah and one to be named later this year. Keri, Mari, and Terry live in Bartlesville. Keri teaches school and Mari and Terry attend OKWU.

“I have often heard my parents speak of the heritage of OKWU. When we graduated from high school, my dad would take us on a “Heritage Tour” of our family. We stopped at the places where both my parents grew up (Colorado and Montana) and then traveled to Miltonvale, Kansas. At each stop, my dad would talk to us about the memories he had of that place. The final stop was Bartlesville. After driving around the city and looking at the different houses we had called home throughout the years, he would drop us off at OKWU (BWC) so we could begin our own “journey.” For all of us (and we all attended OKWU), this was the place where our lives began.”
