Nate and Janet have been married for 18 years and have 3 daughters, Chelsea who is 16, Jamie, 14, and 9 year old Kylie.
They are currently the pastors of the Lawrence Wesleyan Church. When they left BWC in 1985, they went to Kansas City where Nate attended Nazarene Theological Seminary. His last year at seminary, he took the church renewal project in Lawrence. When he graduated from seminary, he became full time pastor. They have pastored there for the past eighteen years.
Nate stays connected to his community by being involved in the local pastor’s alliance, coaching soccer, serving on various committees, and attending community events.
They love to watch KU basketball and are diehard fans!
“We have so many great memories from our time at OKWU: the professors, the Christian world-view, the friends, the chapel speakers, meeting my wife, etc. I made the “big” choices in life as a student at OKWU. I tell my daughters often that they can go anywhere they want to for college, but we will only help them financially if they attend OKWU.”
