Ray Thomas is one of many University’s success stories. He is a 2002 Adult & Graduate Studies graduate with a dual bachelor’s degree in Leadership in Business Administration and Human Resources. Thomas owns and operates a Tulsa family business, which has skyrocketed in growth. His company, TPi Billing Solutions, Inc., was featured in Forbes Magazine in January 2004.
Thomas became president of TPi after joining the company with his father in 1991. Tracy Bolding, Thomas’ daughter, joined the team as CFO in 1994 and his son, Rik, became part of the family business in 2003. Rik opened their Atlanta office the same year. There are now offices in Tulsa, Atlanta and Austin. They have also expanded their operations to over 40 states, and now serve utility, health care, financial services and telecommunication companies.
Besides his business, Ray is actively involved in his church, St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Owasso. He is also on the board of Community Health Connection, which provides health care to the underprivileged.
Ray is married to Rhonda. He has two children-Tracy Bolding and Rik Thomas, and two stepchildren-Ashley and Josh. He also has two grandchildren, Madison and Jackson.
He says his favorite things to do are boating, waterskiing and snow skiing. He loves to spend time outdoors with his family.
