Wesleyan Missionaries to Zambia

The Connors began their first term of missionary service to Zambia in 1970, where John served as pastor, Bible schoolteacher, and administrator until 1982. They transferred to South Korea where they worked until 1991. Currently, John and Marge serve in leadership development on a variety of assigned fields. The Connor’s special ministry assignments revolve around theological education, church development, analysis, and as director of the JESUS Film Partnership. John was born in Medford, Oregon, and lived in Papua New Guinea where his parents served as missionaries. He received a B.A. degree in religion from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, an M.Div. from George Fox Evangelical Seminary, and M.Th. and D.Ms. degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. Marge was born in Indiana and raised in a pastor’s home. She felt a call to missions following a missions convention at her local church. She earned a B.A. degree in religion from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
