Each year OKWU alums give special recognition to several fellow alumni who exemplify the Christian ideals of OKWU and excel in some aspect of their lives. The Alumni Office accepts nominations for these awards from alumni, family, and friends of potential award recipients.
Nominations must be received by May 1st each year.
Alumnus of the Year
This award recognizes an alumnus for outstanding accomplishment in his/her profession, service to church, community and Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
Outstanding Service to Oklahoma Wesleyan University
This award recognizes an alumnus for outstanding service to OKWU.
Outstanding Achievement
This award recognizes an alumnus for outstanding accomplishment in his/her profession and for outstanding service to their church and community.
Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement
This award recognizes an alumnus under the age of 40 for outstanding accomplishment in his/her profession and for outstanding service to their church and community.
Presidential Award
This award recognizes people for outstanding support or service to the university and must have exemplified the Four Pillars of Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
Hall of Faith Award
This award recognizes people for demonstrating long-term, faithful service in ministry.
