Noe Ruiz

Noe Ruiz comes to OKWU by way of Texas A & M International University. Noe, a native of San Antonio, Texas, assisted at TAMIU for 3 years serving as the team’s first base coach as well as Director of Baseball Operations.

During his time at TAMIU, the Dustdevils set the school record for wins and saw the first two playoff berths in school history.

In the summer of 2012, Noe supervised the Connecticut Titans of the Hudson Valley Collegiate Baseball League. He served as Director of Player Development and directed the Titans’ 4 youth teams.

Coach Ruiz served as the hitting coach for the Strasburg Express of the Valley Baseball League for the summer of 2013. The Express lead the league in home-runs and doubles. Additionally, Ruiz coached VBL batting champion and VBL MVP Jordan Tarsovich of Virginia Military Institute as well as 4 other VBL all-stars.

Ruiz is a 2013 graduate of Texas A&M International, with a bachelor’s in Fitness and Sports with a minor in marketing, and he is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration at OKWU.
