Bartlesville, Okla. – Oklahoma Wesleyan University women’s basketball is excited to announce the signing of Courtney Robinson.
Robinson, an athletic guard from Blanchard, OK, who also attended Blanchard High School, is transferring from Oklahoma Baptist University to play with the Lady Eagles in the fall and the coaching staff is delighted by her addition.
“We can’t say how excited we are to have Courtney as a member of our team and family,” said assistant coach Ashley Jones, who couldn’t hold back all her smiles when asked about the team’s new recruit.
“She’s a great person and amazing fit for our university.”
Prior to starting her collegiate career Robinson was a member of the OGBCA All-State team while excelling in the classroom as a member of the academic all-state team.
Head coach Mark Molder has always surround himself with good shooters and the addition of Robinson has blessed the Lady Eagles with another massive option.
“Courtney is tough guard that can shoot it and has good handles,” Molder said. “We are looking for bright things for Courtney in our program.”
Robinson will join a Lady Eagles team that will report to campus in Mid-August.
Oklahoma Wesleyan opens the season on October 28, against Ecclesia College.
