Conway, Ark. — Delaney Jones scored a game high 23 points and led the Oklahoma Wesleyan women’s basketball team to a comfortable 69-46 victory over Central Baptist on the road on Tuesday night.
The Lady Eagles, who dropped two places in the latest NAIA rankings, which was released on Tuesday, improved to 11-1 in MCAC conference play, while moving to 19-4 on the season overall.
Jones shot 64 percent from the field, including 4-for-7 from three point range in the win for Oklahoma Wesleyan, while collecting four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Twin sister Megan Jones supported with 10 points and eight rebounds, as the Lady Eagles collected its third successive win since losing to the No. 2 ranked College of the Ozarks last week.
Alyssa Drake led Central Baptist with a team high 18 points and five rebounds in the defeat.
