The OKWU Women’s Basketball team defeated Hillsdale Baptist College 80-46 this past Friday night in the Mueller Sports Center.
The Lady Eagles were able to force Hillsdale into 26 turnovers and held the Lady Saints to a 21% total field goal percentage. Every player for OKWU was able to play at least 9 minutes in the game as some younger players were able to gain valuable experience.
Standing out for the Lady Eagles was senior, guard Kristen Dixon with 19 points. Dixon hit 6 of 7 three-point attempts on the game. Freshman, center Teryn Gillete also scored double figures with 10 points on 5 of 8 shooting.
Next up for the Lady Eagles is a trip to Alva, OK on November 17th to play against Northwestern OK State College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6pm.
