Freshman infielder Macy Wright of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Softball Player of the Week for the week ending April 17.
Wright (Ramona, Okla.) hit .818 (9-for-11) over four games last week to go along with 10 runs scored, a double, home run, three RBI and three stolen bases.
Oklahoma Wesleyan owns a 17-27 record in 2011 (4-6 MCAC).
