The OKWU Baseball team had their first fall scrimmage of the year this past Saturday taking on Arkansas Baptist College. Overall the Eagles looked good for their first outing against a different opponent. Head Coach Kirk Kelley was pleased saying “It was good to play an outside opponent. Overall I felt we had a great day. All three phases of the game showed signs of promise. I like the way our new players and old players have meshed up to this point. We have some great competitions going on both in the field and on the mound.”
Next up for the Eagles is another scrimmage on October 1st versus Northern Tonkawa at 12pm at Doenges Field.
