The OKWU Men’s Basketball team was able to record their fifth straight win of the season with a win at Mid America Christian University this past Tuesday night. The Eagles were able to out-rebound their opponents 49-45, with a 20-13 edge on the offensive glass in the 81-79 victory.
Leading the way for the OKWU men was senior, power forward Sadiel Rojas with 37 points and 13 rebounds. Rojas made 13 of his 20 field goals and was able to hit 10 of 15 free throw attempts. Freshman, point guard Dominique Rambo was also able to continue his scoring success with a 21 points on the night, including 4 three-point field goals. Also in double figures for the Eagles was senior Murray Shaw with 10 points.
Next up for the OKWU Eagles is a trip to Evangel University to take on Park University this Saturday, November 13th at 7pm. The Eagles are then set for a rematch versus Mid America Christian University on November 16th at 7:30pm at the Mueller Sports Center.
