The OKWU men’s basketball team played the John Brown Golden Eagles tonight at the MSC. JBU came out of the fight on top with a 77-72 win over the hometown Eagles. OKWU battled hard all night and were all knotted up at halftime with a very talented John Brown team. The Eagles were down by 11 midway through the 2nd half but pulled to within 3 on numerous possessions late in the game. They were never able to close the gap completely and JBU was able to make some important plays down the stretch.
