The OKWU Men’s Soccer team is currently unbeaten with a 4-0-2 record and this past week received the #6 spot in the NCCAA Poll.

This past Saturday the Eagles got another 1-0 win over Sterling College. The lone goal was scored by Corwin Moore with the assist coming from Cameel Hourani. But what stood out the most on the field was the defensive effort on OKWU’s part. Vladan Glavonic continued his success as goalkeeper with his second clean sheet and five saves. The back line consisting of Connor Whitman, Conor Crossley, Mark Bloxam are solid and consistent.

Head Coach Jamie Peterson is proud of the recent #6 ranking but has much more to be excited about saying “Our players deserve all the credit for their NCCAA #6 ranking. They have worked hard since they arrived and the great thing is we have a lot of room for improvement. Our guys continue to represent Christ, our school, and their families on the field. It is exciting to see the progress and our guys know we have a lot of work ahead of us to get to where we want to get.

The Eagles hit the field again this afternoon against Hillsdale Baptist College on the OKWU Soccer Field. The game is set to kick off at 4PM.
