BARTLESVILLE, Okla – As the weather turns cold, the soccer postseason schedules heat up. The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s soccer team looks to heat up as well, heading to Oklahoma City, Okla., to face Mid-America Christian University in a National Christian College Athletic Association Regional Tournament contest.
The match will begin at 2 p.m. at Evangel Field in Oklahoma City. The winner of the game will face the winner of the 11 a.m. contest between Central Baptist College (Ark.) and Colorado Christian University. The championship game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m.
The Eagles, 5-11 on the season, beat the Evangels on Nov. 5, 4-2, with the help from juniors Jeff Giroux, Cameel Hourani, Cameron Whitam and freshman David Critchley, who each scored a goal. Hourani, a native of Antiqua, had two of the assists, and Wade Struges (Bartlesville, Okla.) and Critchley (Liverpool, England) each had an assist of their own.
