The Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference announced their weekly player of the week awards for soccer and cross country. Several OKWU athletes were honored.

Freshman forward Libby Storie of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 12.
Storie (Gillette, Wyo.) scored three goals and assisted on another in Oklahoma Wesleyan’s 4-0 shutout of KCAC foe Southwestern College last week.

Freshman defender Deanna Sidener of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 12.
A native of Tulsa, Okla., she helped the Eagles earn a 4-0 shutout over Southwestern College last week. Sidener also added as assist in the win.

Freshman Allie Antrim of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week ending Sept. 12.
Antrim (Wichita, Kan.) finished fourth at the Friends University Invitational on Friday, Sept. 10, posting a time of 20:01.

Senior David Rannabarger of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week ending Sept. 12
A native of Stayton, Ore., he took second place at the Friends University Invitational on Friday, Sept. 10, setting a new school record in the 8K with a time of 26:49.
