The OKWU Baseball team traveled to Edmond, OK to lend a hand in teaching baseball to special needs children of all ages.
The Eagle Baseball program had the opportunity to play with the Miracle League Baseball Program for the second consecutive year on September 16th and September 21st. Head Coach Kirk Kelley is proud of the experience that it gives not only the children but also the members of his team saying “It is an amazing experience for our players and coaches as well as an amazing experience for the young boys and girls participating. The game of baseball is meant to be played and to have fun, and it’s so rewarding to share our gifts with these kids. To see the smile on all the faces makes for an incredible night of baseball. It is a night that our team will remember forever.”
