The National Christian College Athletic Association just announced the 2011 South Central All-Region Team and several Eagle Baseball Players were on it. Junior Outfielder Cory Ford was also selected as this year’s South Central Player of the Year.
OKWU members of the 1st Team include Jake Palese (3rd Baseman), Cory Ford (Outfielder), Chris Needham (Pitcher), and Thomas Kellner (Pitcher).
The Eagles are currently in the South Central Region Tournament and are set to play Mid America Christian University this after noon at 4pm. All of the tournament games are being played at Doenges Field in downtown Bartlesville.
