The OKWU Lady Eagles traveled to Conway, AR to face a scrappy Central Baptist College team. The Mustangs proved to be up for the challenge as they battled the Lady Eagles the entire way. The Lady Eagles found themselves behind with under thirty seconds to play before Kelsey Jones hit the biggest shot of the night. The Jones three pointer dropped through the net giving the Lady Eagles a 54-53 lead with ten seconds left to play. The Lady Eagles stepped up and got a huge defensive stop to seal the victory. “Tonight was probably our best team effort of the season. I’m very proud of how we competed.” said Coach Molder. The Lady Eagles travel to Bethany, OK on Tuesday to play SWCU.
