Both the Lady Eagles and the Eagle Soccer teams went on the road to Bethel College yesterday and came back victorious.
In the Women’s game Libby Story scored 2 goals to help the Lady Eagles get the 2-1 win. Give an assist to both Eden Brown and Dawn Story.
On the men’s side the OKWU Eagles defeated Bethel 4-1. Lucas Almeida stepped up and scored 3 out of the 4 goals and David Critchley scored the 4th. Justin Camacho and Hector Herrera both ended the game with an assist each. Coach Jamie Peterson is excited about the performance saying “We had a glimpse of the type of soccer we would like to play. Lucas put on a show. The guys are building good chemistry. “
The Women’s soccer team is enjoying a well deserved week off and will hit the game field again on October 5th versus Missouri Baptist University for a home game at 2pm. The Men are scheduled for a tough away game this weekend versus John Brown University on September 25th at 3pm.
