The OKWU women’s soccer team won 2-1 today and now advance to the conference championship game. The Lady Eagles went down 1-0 before Amber Brown scored a great goal. Libby Storie scored the game’s go ahead goal and the Lady Eagles never looked back. Coach Peterson was proud of the team. “They showed a lot of grit and determination.” The women will play Saturday at 2:30pm.
The Men’s Soccer team won their game against CBC 3-2. Scoring for the men’s team were Corwin Moore, Ben Rummage, and Hector Herrera. It was a team effort and the team showed a lot of fight throughout the game. They will compete for the conference championship tomorrow on the OKWU campus at 2:00pm. COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR EAGLES!!
