The OKWU Volleyball team gets big win against MCAC Conference opponent Southwestern Christian University last night. The Lady Eagles showed great intensity in the win and beat Southwestern Christian in 3 sets.
Randa Roberts lead the team with 10 kills, while Alicia Efron finished with 6 and Mandy Muncy had 5. Both Crystal Bain and Amber Rouse led the team in digs and Bain also lead with 24 assists.
Head Coach Tracie Collins was pleased with how much intensity her team had saying “I’m proud that even though we’ve had a tough past couple of weeks they came out with fire and intensity to win the game. This win shows that we are not going to go away quietly, that we will go and play hard for every point.”
The Lady Eagles don’t have much time off before their next game as they are scheduled for a trip to Huston-Tillotson University this Saturday for a 2pm game.
