BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (4-10-10) – Oklahoma Wesleyan women’s basketball coach Britney Kannady is pleased to announce the recent signings of Teryn Gillett and Kayla Oleman to letter’s of intent for the 2010-11 basketball season.
Gillett will join the Lady Eagles next season after an outstanding athletic career at Barnsdall High School, just 20 minutes southwest of Bartlesville. Not only did the 6’1 Gillett excel on the court, but also she was very good on the softball diamond, playing both slow and fast pitch.

Oleman is a 6’1 forward from Wyandotte, Okla. Just like Gillett, Oleman was a standout in basketball and softball, while adding track to her repertoire as well.
During her senior season, Oleman averaged 15-points and eight rebounds a game for the Wyandotte Lady Bears, who qualified for the Oklahoma area tournament for the first time this decade. Oleman was named the Most Valuable Player in the Lucky 7 Conference, as well as an All-Region nod.
