Devin Harris Named MCAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Bartlesville, Okla. — Oklahoma Wesleyan University point guard Devin Harris has been named MCAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 2.

The junior from Edmond, Oklahoma, who is currently averaging 16.7 point per game this season, averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game last week in the Eagles pair of victories.

Harris scored 12 points in OKWU’s comfortable 96-64 win over Dallas Christian, before collecting 17 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals in the tight 73-71 victory over John Brown University on the road on Saturday.

Erik Brewer of Waldorf College was also nominated for the award.

The Eagles (8-2), which have won its last seven games, will next be in action at home on Saturday against Barclay College, a game that can be seen live on our website….
