Eagles Men’s Soccer Remain 14th in NAIA Ranking

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Oklahoma Wesleyan University remain the 14th ranked team in the NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 poll, the national office announced Tuesday.

The Eagles, the top team in the MCAC Conference, started the season with a 3-1 record and collected 313 points total points in the ranking.

After starting the campaign with two victories, OKWU suffered its first defeat of the season during the Biola tournament in California, last week – beating 3-2 in overtime by the home side.

The Jamie Peterson coached team did return to beat The Master’s 2-0 in their second game.

Meanwhile, Mobile collected 19 of 20 first-place votes and 560 total points to hold their first No. 1 ranking since 2002.

Oklahoma Wesleyan return to action on Wednesday when they take on No. 9 MidAmerica Nazarene University at home.
