Eagles Ranked 14th In 2013 NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s soccer program will start the new season as the 14th ranked team in the nation, following the release of the national office’s 2013 NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll on Tuesday.

The Eagles, which compiled a 19-1-1 record last season, received 296 points to remain at the same ranking they finished the 2012 campaign.

Defending national champion Belhaven (Miss.) remains picked up the top spot in this year’s NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll.

Meanwhile, the Jamie Peterson coached team won the 2012 MCAC Regular Season and MCAC Tournament titles and are once again favorites to land the crown after topping the 2013 MCAC Men’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll, which was released last Wednesday (Aug. 14).
