Bartlesville, Okla. — Josh Young scored a game high 24 points and led three others into double digit scoring and the No.13 Oklahoma Wesleyan defeated Saint Mary College 82-78 at home on Saturday.
Young, who went 8 of 15 from the field, including 5 of 11 from three pointers, received support from Phillip Jahn, who shot 50-percent from the field to finish with 17 points and five rebounds.
Senior guard Tyler Woods had 16 points and six rebounds, while Devin Harris added 12 points in the win for the Eagles who improved to 2-0 on the season, picking up back-to-back home wins, following the 93-88 victory over Friends University on Tuesday night.
Oklahoma Wesleyan shot 45.61-percent on 26 of 57 from the floor, while going 44.44-percent from three-pointers.
Jerry Sipple and Jamal Akakpo each scored 20 points for Saint Mary College, with Grant Greenberg adding 17 in the defeat.
The Eagles return to action on Tuesday night against Tabor (Kan.) at home.
