Bartlesville, Okla. – The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles Basketball staff is happy to announce the signing of Alexis Seburg.
Seburg, who is a native of Norman, Okla., has the quality and character head coach Mark Molder has been keeping a keen eye out for during his recruiting process this year and he’s extremely happy to capture such a talent.
“Lexi is a great player and then you add in her athleticism and the sky is the limit. We are elated to have Lexi in our program,” said Molder.
Seburg is a 5’9″ guard who played her high school basketball at Norman High School, carries the athletic capabilities and structure that pleases assistant coach Ashley Jones, who was quite impressed by her ability to “guard other teams’ most dynamic offensive players,” playing in different positions.
“We noticed Lexi could guard multiple positions during the recruiting process,” Jones said. “It wasn’t until she visited campus and worked out with our girls that we saw the huge offensive upside she possesses.”
The Lady Eagles’ coaching staff is excited to see what Seburg and the rest of this years recruiting class can do.
The team reports back to campus in August with hopes of building on the success of last season.
