Lady Eagles Beaten by Indiana Wesleyan In NAIA First Round

2014 NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship – First Round – Sioux City, Iowa – March 12, 2014.

No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan (27-7) def. No. 6 Oklahoma Wesleyan (22-11), 79-50.

The Lady Eagles, who fall to 22-12 on the year, were led in scoring by senior Megan Jones, who scored 12 points.

Jones was the only Oklahoma Wesleyan player in double figures in the defeat, as the Mark Molder coached team remains winless in two trips to the national championship.

Defending national champion Indiana Wesleyan advances to play No. 2 Hastings at 7 p.m. CDT on Friday.
