Lady Eagles seeded second in 2013 MCAC Women’s Soccer Preseason Poll

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. - Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been seeded second in the 2013 MCAC Women’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll released earlier this week.

The Lady Eagles, under the guidance of first year head coach Vladan Glavonic, return the likes of Libby Storie, the MCAC Offensive Player of the Year last season, in addition to forward Amber Brown, defender Bristol Clark and goalkeeper Lisa Amman, who were all in the All-MCAC First Team last term.

Glavonic has also strengthened his squad with talents from Brazil and Serbia and his looking forward to having another strong season.

Bellevue University, in the meantime, has been selected as the favored team to win the 2013 MCAC Women’s title.

The Bruins were 13-4-1, including 6-0-1 in MCAC in 2012, and went on to secure the MCAC Regular Season Championship and the MCAC Tournament title on their way to advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the third-straight season.

Rounding out the rankings are Central Baptist College (4th), Waldorf College (5th), York College (6th) and Central Christian College (7th).
