Bartlesville, OK- The Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OKWU) Women’s Soccer Head Coach Vladan Glavonic and staff are gearing up for the 2014-15 season and are hard on the recruiting trail in attempt to create competetive roster as much as possible with great talent.

The Lady Eagles are pleased to announce the signing of Rachel Franke.

Franke is the daughter of Evie Frankie and Kevin Franke and hails from Gasper, WY where she will graduate from Kelly Walsh High School in May.

Rachel is a defender for both her high school and Casper Blades club team.

“Rachel is a great addition for us,” said Glavonic. “She’ll give us depth in our defensive side of the field and she has the right tools to become a contributor really quickly for our program.

“I’m thrilled to have her join us and excited to watch how she adds to OKWU and soccer program over the next several years.”

The OKWU Lady Eagles had a record of 15-5-2 last year and they were MCAC regular season champions.

The home opener for Lady Eagles will be on August 23rd at 7pm against Bacone College.
