Lady Eagles Soccer Selected To Win 2014 MCAC Title

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. – Defending regular season champion Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been selected as the top team in the 2014 MCAC Women’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll released Thursday night.

The Lady Eagles finished the 2013 season with a 14-4-2 record, including a perfect 6-0 MCAC conference record on their way to claiming the regular season championship.

Head coach Vladan Glavonic and his staff has put together another solid squad in preparation for the new season and he is expecting another exciting year.

Meanwhile, Bellevue University, the 2013 MCAC tournament champion, is ranked second in the 2014 preseason coaches’ poll, with College of Saint Mary selected third.

Rounding out the rankings are Waldorf College (4th), Central Baptist College (5th), Central Christian College (t-6th) and York College (t-6th).
