Bartlesville, Okla. — Megan Jones scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half and Oklahoma Wesleyan women’s basketball team upset No. 12 College of Saint Mary 91-77 in their Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference make-up game on Monday night.
Jones, who also pulled down six rebounds in the game, went 5 of 10 from the field and a perfect 8 of 8 from the free throw line.
Her twin sister Delaney Jones scored 15 points, Christa Beasler added 13 points, while Kayla Oleman finish with 12 points in the victory.
Freshman guard Kayla Morgan ended with 11 points in the win for the Eagles, which improved to 17-10 on the season and 10-2 in the MCAC.
Deaundra Young paced the visiting College of Saint Mary with a game-high 30 points and eight rebounds, with Amanda Woodering adding 16 points in the defeat.
