Bartlesville, Okla. – Oklahoma Wesleyan women’s basketball program continues its fine capture of talented players, following the signing of Megan Owen.
Owen, who has received several notable honors, is a 5’10 forward from Keller, Texas.
The incoming freshman, who can also play as a sharp shooting forward, joins a Lady Eagles team that was 3rd in the nation for three pointers per contest.
“Megan can shoot it and that really excites us,” an excited head coach Mark Molder revealed.
He added: “She is a great character kid and handles her business on and off the basketball court.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Megan in the program.”
Owen was recognized for her on and off the court accomplishments by being named to the All-District team and being named Academic All-State.
Molder believes she will certainly add value to his women’s program, which continues to excel under his leadership.
