Bartlesville, Okla. – The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles have inked another heralded recruit in Susan Agesen, the coaching start announced this week.
The tall forward from Edgewood, TX, has decided to transfer to OKWU from Jacksonville College to play with the women’s basketball team this coming season.
While at Jacksonville College, Agesen averaged 10pts and five rebs per game, and head coach Mark Molder believes she’ll be an ideal addition to his team.
“When I first saw Susan play I knew she was a perfect fit for our program,” an elated Molder said. “Her style of play and ability to go inside and out fit what we do perfectly.
“She’s also and exceptional character kid that excels in the classroom. We are very excited to have Susan as a member of the team and OKWU family.”
Prior to excelling at the collegiate level, Agesen was a high school standout, where she was named a member of the Texas All-State team.
The Lady Eagles will look for Agesen to fill some of the vacancies left by their graduating class, and help in their third trip to the NAIA National Tournament.
The Lady Eagles return to campus in mid-August to prepare for the season and their home opener on October 28th.
