Bartlesville, Okla. — The Oklahoma Wesleyan University women’s soccer coach Vladan Glavonic confirms the signing of Cristina Olvera in quest to bring success to the upcoming 2014-2015 soccer season.
Olvera hails from Katy, TX and attends Katy High School where she will be completing her high school diploma by the end of this May.
She is the daughter of Fabian and Rosalinda Ortega. She is part of the high school varsity team and will be a great addition to the Eagles in the coming years.
Head coach Glavonic said: “ Cristina is talented young lady with ability to cover multiple positions.”
He added: “I am looking forward to see how she is going to develop under OKWU coaching staff and I am very happy to have her join our team.”
The OKWU Lady Eagles had a record of 15-5-2 last year and they were MCAC regular season champions.
The home opener for Lady Eagles will be on August 23rd at 7pm.
