Bartlesville, Okla. – Shayna Daniel has signed a letter of intent to play with the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles Basketball team.
Daniel, a 5’9 forward from San Angelo, TX, is known for her athleticism and competitive nature and head coach Mark Molder is looking forward to having her on board.
She played with Grape Creek High School.
“We are very excited about Shayna joining our program this coming season,” Molder said on Wednesday.
“She is a tough kid and I don’t know that you’ll find a better all around athlete.
“She can guard multiple positions and is a tough cover for other teams.”
The Lady Eagles landed the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference (MCAC) conference regular season title, following a 15-1 record.
Oklahoma Wesleyan finished the season with a 24-6 record, in addition to securing it first trip to the NAIA national tournament.
