Ashley Burnett from Carnoustie, Scotland, is going into her third year of assistant coaching. Burnett started off playing for Monifieth Ladies FC, before moving to play in the Scottish Premier League for Dundee United Ladies FC. She started her American soccer journey at Hutchinson Community College, Kansas, where she had a very successful 2 years; back to back conference champions, and two time regional champions.

Burnett then transferred to Oklahoma Wesleyan University to finish her 2 years of her soccer career. Junior year she was named 2nd team all-conference, and 1st team all regional, and recorded 8 goals and 5 assists. Senior year, Burnett was named captain, and 2nd team all-conference, 1st team all regional, recorded 8 goals and 1 assist and OKWU were conference champions.

In 2013, Burnett played in the WPSL semi-professional league for North Bay Wave in California. In 2015 and 2016, she played in the same league for Tulsa Spirit where she was named captain.

Burnett has a degree in Sports Coaching (Scotland), and Exercise Science (OKWU), and an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing (OKWU).

She also has a USSF National D Coaching License.
