Summer is a time for change on university campuses, and an exciting change for OKWU is the full accreditation of our Master of Science in Nursing! The School of Nursing recently received official word of the accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). “Officially recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accreditation agency, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is an autonomous accrediting agency, contributing to the improvement of the public’s health. CCNE ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate, and residency programs in nursing.” The baccalaureate degree program in nursing and master’s degree program in nursing at Oklahoma Wesleyan University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
