The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Music Program, under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Stewart and Professor Jennifer Cunningham, will be hosting the Fifth Annual OKWU Choral Festival on Thursday, March 23 at the Lyon Hall Chapel of Fine Arts culminating with the Festival Concert at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

OKWU Relentless (contemporary a cappella ensemble), Chorale, and Handbell Ensemble will be featured on this concert as well as the Dewey High School Choir, Nowata High School Choir, Sequoyah High School Choir, and the Wesleyan Christian School Choir. A Massed Choir including all participating choirs and numbering in excess of 120 voices, will be singing “Chester” by William Billings, “Achieved is Thy Glorious Work” by Franz Joseph Haydn, and “A Quadlibet of Spirituals” arranged by Larry Minton.

All are invited and admission is free. Come for an evening of beautiful music!
