On Tuesday, August 1st, Dr. Piper traveled to Washington D.C. to be a part of FRC’s Speaker Series. FRC (Family Research Council) “seeks to advance faith, family, and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview.” Dr. Everett Piper, author of the viral essay, “This Is Not a Day Care. It’s a University!,” provides some much needed common sense in an FRC Speaker Series talk entitled “Not a Day Care: The Devastating Consequences of Abandoning Truth.” As Dr. Piper explains, feelings lead to fascism and facts lead to freedom. Words matter because they have meaning, and ideas do have consequences.  Watch Dr. Piper’s lecture below.
