Chesapeake Energy School of Business:

The Chesapeake Energy School of Business has multiple offerings for students in traditional and non-traditional programs.  For the traditional daytime student, the School offers degrees in Accounting, Business, Financial Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Sports Marketing, Management & Leadership, Sports Management, Human Resources, and Interdisciplinary Business.  Through the Adult and Graduate Program, the School offers an on-ground degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Management.  An online undergraduate degree in Organizational Management is also available.  The School currently offers two graduate degrees, Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Strategic Leadership in both on-ground and online formats.

Description:

The Chesapeake Energy School of Business is seeking qualified applicants in the following areas-

Traditional:

–Adjunct and/or substitute instructors to teach accounting, finance, marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.

Adult and Graduate Studies:

–Adjunct instructors to teach accounting, finance, marketing, and management on-ground at the Bartlesville and Tulsa campuses and online

–Adjunct instructors to teach Master’s level leadership for the MSL at the Bartlesville and Tulsa campuses

Qualifications:

–A personal and vital Christian faith is required.

–Evidence of commitment to the integration of Christian faith and living with the theory and practice of education is expected.

Education and Experience:

Traditional:

A Master’s degree is required to teach bachelor level courses.

Adult and Graduate Studies:

A Master’s degree is required for adjuncts teaching bachelor level courses. A Doctorate degree is preferred for adjuncts teaching master level courses.  Adjuncts without a doctorate degree may be eligible to teach master level courses if deemed qualified by accrediting agency faculty standards.

Responsibilities:

Traditional:

Adjunct instructors will be responsible for teaching undergraduate level courses in the Chesapeake Energy School of Business.

Adult and Graduate Studies:

Adjunct instructors will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in the Chesapeake Energy School of Business. Successful candidates who will teach online must pass a 3 week Faculty Online Training and commit to developing and honing their skills as an online instructor.

Supervisor:

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Dean of the Chesapeake Energy School of Business. Adjuncts who teach courses for the Adult and Graduate Studies program will also work under the Dean of AGS Operations.
