Mission and Passion:

My personal mission is to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with the talents He has given me, to be and do the best that I can for Him daily. So many times I have failed in this mission, but God has been faithful in His reminding me that He is in control. He has given me the talent of teaching and I am so very thankful He has brought me to this point in my professional career. There is no greater joy than using my talent to teach in a profession I love.

My passion is to see the future generation of nurses make a positive impact on the profession I have dedicated my entire life to. When I am teaching students, I am looking to the end result of watching them become successful nurses in the healthcare industry. When my students are successful, then I have been effective in teaching them in the role of a nurse. As I educate each generation of nurses into nursing practice, I know one-day these nurses will be taking care of me and I can rest assured I will receive critically competent care.
