Mission & Passion

I am a firm believer in the value of a Christian Liberal Arts education. As such, I have been a member of the OKWU faculty since 1993, following four years of teaching in Illinois, and five in Iowa, where I was Chemistry Program Director and worked with international students at Westmar College. I have four published articles in professional chemistry journals reporting my research in mechanistic organic chemistry. But closer to my heart, for over 20 years, I have been involved in children’s ministry through various churches of which I have been a member.

Inspiring Verse / Quotation

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15, KJV
