How does this work?

    1. Create a video (max 5 min)
    2. Get creative: graphic art, visual art
    3. Write an essay/blog (less than 1000 words)
  2. Upload your entry so the world can see it!
    • Upload your videos to YouTube, then submit link
    • Graphic art goes great on Flickr, then submit link
    • Tell us the link to your blog essay, or paste written entries directly into the submission box.
  3. Read all the contest rules below.

Challenge Prize Information and Rules

PRIZES: Grand Prize winner will receive a One Year* Full Scholarship (see rules below). Second place submission will receive an Apple iPad. Third place submission will receive a $200 iTunes card.

PROCESS: The University judges will select the top ten entries and then the winner will be determined by the social community, with voting taking place via posts to Facebook and Twitter. Entries may be posted starting Wednesday, February 17th, at 8 AM through Wednesday, March 3rd at midnight. Voting will then take place for one week with the winner being determined and verified with an announcement on Monday, March 15th.

RULES:

  1. The winner must enroll in the fall semester of the 2010-2011 academic year (or Adult Program equivalent*).
  2. Full scholarship includes: one academic year Tuition, Room and Board (or Adult Program equivalent*) Board/Food provided for year by Pioneer Services.
  3. The winner must be the one who attends OKWU. This prize may not be given as a gift.
  4. The winner must meet university admissions requirements.
  5. OKWU reserves the right not to award a winner in the event that sufficient quality standards are not met by competitors.
  6. Contestants must own the material they submit and have a right to submit the material.
  7. If under 18, when a submission is made the entrant is agreeing that parents have given permission for the student to compete.
  8. Winner must apply for all available financial aid as determined by the university.
  9. Contest is open to new and returning students, including traditional and AGS students.
  10. The decisions of the university on the winner and all aspects of the competition are final.
  11. This award is for the 2010-2011 academic year consisting of fall and spring semesters only (or Adult Program equivalent*).
  12. All submissions may be used by OKWU in promotional material in whatever manner is deemed appropriate by the university.
  13. The winner agrees to allow OKWU to take promotional photos/video of them and use this in promotional material.
  14. The winner agrees to uphold the mission of the school during their matriculation at OKWU.

*Adult Program student winner scholarship will cover up to $12,000 tuition only (no books, fees, etc) and the student must take courses between August 2010 and May 2012.
