What Will We Be Covering Friday
Friday: 8:45 AM – 9:30 AM – Josh McDowell
Teaching Truth in Today’s Culture
Research shows that the vast majority of our churched young people have distorted beliefs about Christ and Christianity. Josh presents the depths to which these distorted beliefs have infiltrated the minds of our churched youth and altered their attitudes and behavior. He shares critical steps that we as parents and adults need to take to reverse this alarming trend.
Friday: 9:40 AM – 10:20 AM – Abdu Murray
The Gospel as Unique Amidst Worldviews
Every major worldview, whether religious or secular, competes for our attention by claiming to have answers to life’s most important questions. Abdu looks at four major worldviews, atheism/skepticism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam, and compares their fundamental tenets with those of classical Christianity to show that the Gospel provides the only answers worth trusting to life’s critical questions.
Friday: 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM – Dr. Frank Turek

Friday: 1:00 PM – 1:40 PM – Sean McDowell
Equipping Young People With A Biblical Worldview
Between 58-88% of young people walk away from their faith after they leave high school. One of the top reasons is that they have not been trained in a biblical worldview ahead of time to anticipate the intellectual and moral challenges of college. Youth who have a biblical worldview are less likely to engage in risky behavior and more likely to have a positive impact on their generation for Christ. We will consider the nature of a biblical worldview, why it is so important, and practical steps to help young people develop a biblical worldview.
