BARTLESVILLE, Okla., November 29, 2011. The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Chorale wants to wish the Bartlesville community a Merry Christmas with this years Christmas concert. The Chorale will enchant you with Christmas favorites on Tuesday, November 29th. The free concert will be held in the Chapel Fine Arts building starting at 7:00 PM.
The Women’s Ensemble will open the concert with Sweet Adelines’ arrangements of Christmas Chopstix; Oh, Holy Night; and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. The Men’s Quartet will follow with pieces including favorites such as Jingle Bells, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The Chorale will finish up the program with Christmas People, Arise featuring OKWU freshman Janessa Blain on trumpet.
Come enjoy an evening of energetic Christmas music celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is an evening you won’t want to miss.
The OKWU Chorale is under the direction of Mr. Jonathan Stewart with Ms. Rachel Hammon accompanying on piano.
