Mission & Passion

Disseminating information only in the classroom at best languishes students—both academically and spiritually. Education is of necessity reciprocal: as I teach, I too am learning. I am learning not only from personal study and preparation, but also from the students themselves. They need to know this. Consequently, both in and out of the classroom I am committed to inciting and inflaming the passion and skills that will equip students for life-long learning, critical thinking, and Christ-like servanthood in a multicultural and pluralistic world.

Inspiring Verse / Quotation

“When anyone is joined to Christ, he is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. All this is done by God, who through Christ changed us from enemies into his friends and gave us the task of making others his friends also.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 TEV

“We all live under the same sky, but we do not all have the same horizon.” Konrad Adenauer
