Listed here are steps that will guide you towards your future at OKWU. Your educational journey starts here.
1) Find the online program for you
Explore the programs and degrees we offer and go to Programs and Courses and discover why OKWU is the best choice for you.
2) Make contact with an Enrollment Representative
Our enrollment staff will work with you one to one. Providing answers to all of your questions. They will send you a packet of information or you may surf the OKWU website.
3) Apply
Complete the hard copy application and send it back by fax, mail or pdf it to your Enrollment Representative. Or use the convenient online application

4) Request Official Copies of your Transcripts
Complete the hard copy Transcript Request Form and mail, fax or pdf it to your Enrollment Representative. You must provide copies of all your previous college transcripts. Select the appropriate Transcript Request Form

5) Apply to Receive Financial Aid
Read through the provided Financial Aid Information and go to Financial Aid link to view helpful information. Finding out what you qualify for is free and can’t hurt your credit rating. There you will find a helpful Financial Aid Checklist to walk you through the whole process.

6) Degree Plan
Once your official transcripts have been reviewed by the Registrar a Degree Plan (DP) will be created by your academic advisor. This will provide you all the details to complete your degree.
7) Registration
Prior to or at final registration you will need to turn in your “Registration Contract” & registration fee. At registration you will be given an OKWU new student orientation. Once you have reached this stage you are ready to be enrolled in classes.

Students are responsible for purchasing Textbooks prior to each on-line class.
