Official Transcript Requests that are submitted via iwantmytranscript.com/okwu by Tuesday, December 20, can be processed and mailed before the 23rd (except in cases of finanacial holds). TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS
Current students can access UNOFFICIAL transcripts 24/7 through OKWU’s online student portal, WebAccess.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Scrip-Safe have partnered together to provide students with access to an online ordering system through a secure website. Order updates will be emailed to you and you can also check your order status and history online.
Now that we are utilizing this transcript service you will need to complete your transcript request through www.iwantmytranscript.com/okwu. To create your account at our new transcript ordering site follow these steps:
- Go to www.iwantmytranscript.com/okwu.
- Click on “Don’t have an account?”
- Fill in all of your information on the Recipient Info Screen and click CONTINUE.
- Go to the upper right hand corner of the screen and click CONSENT FORM
- Click DOWNLOAD FORM (then OPEN it)
- Print out this form, sign and date it, and fax it to 513-697-0012.
Your account is now ready! Don’t forget to save your login and password information for the next time you need a transcript! Anytime you need to order transcripts from Oklahoma Wesleyan University just login and follow the steps. The Consent Form needs to be filled out and sent in only once. No need to re-fax anything each time you order a transcript.
You can order your transcripts using a Visa or MasterCard at any time. Oklahoma Wesleyan University will process transcript orders from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, except when closed for Holidays. When possible, requests should be made well in advance of the date when the transcript is needed. Transcripts will be sent from Oklahoma Wesleyan University within two to three business days after a request is received, provided the student has no restrictions to prevent this. However, it is always recommended to allow additional time during peak periods.
Note:
If you have a ‘hold’ on your account, a transcript may not be processed. If you are a current student, you can check for any holds through WebAccess. Holds include but are not limited to:
- Financial obligation to the University
- Failure to complete an exit interview for Student/Perkins Loan borrowers
- Default of institutional, state, or federal loan
Please note the following policies regarding transcript orders at OKWU:
- The student’s signature is REQUIRED to process a transcript request; therefore, e-mail and telephone requests will not be accepted.
- Please allow 2-3 business days for processing fax and mail requests, plus the applicable transit time via the US Postal Service. During peak periods of high transcript request volume (in the weeks preceding and following each semester), allow additional processing time.
- Cost: $5. Transcripts can be faxed for a $10 fee, but faxed transcripts are not OFFICIAL.
- Expedited shipping is available via UPS for U.S. addresses (except P.O. boxes).
- Shipping charges for transcripts sent to International addresses will be the responsibilty of the student.
- Our policy prohibits the distribution of transcripts via e-mail.
- Current students may print an unofficial copy of their transcript by logging into WebAccess.
- Certain holds on your account (Student Accounts, Financial Aid, etc.) placed by other areas of the University will prevent us from being able to fulfill your transcript request. Please ensure that your accounts are clear and all holds have been lifted.
- Please note:
- Transcripts or the information contained in transcripts cannot be released without written consent and signature of the student, as per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
- Any indebtedness to the University must be paid before a transcript can be issued, except with special permission from the Financial Services or Financial Aid Office.
- Student Loan Exit Interviews are required for Perkins Loans and Stafford Loans.
